Headed back to our hotel from Bourbon street and was carving some late night fried chicken . Our first thought was one of those chicken and daiquiri places but we just wanted 1 piece chicken each and didn't want to spend 30+ bucks. Then I remembered the liquor store across the street from our hotel room. Went there and got 3 pieces of chicken and a drink for 10 bucks. Hit the spot and the chicken was exactly what we wanted. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside. Sketchy place, but great chicken.

Great Fried Chicken! Fair Pricing and high product turnover guarantee a fresh order every time. It's crispy though.... Very crispy.

When I tell you, I do not wait in line for anything, and I waited in this line on two separate occasions, the chicken is THAT GOOD. Juicy, crispy, perfectly seasoned. Yes, you can use the crystal hot sauce (I hot sauce everything) but I did not sauce this chicken. I've been dreaming about it since I've left the city, it will 100% be a stop for every future visit to New Orleans. We ordered a dark meat bucket. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

Late night fried chicken run! We walked down to Brother's to grab a quick bite to eat! Brothers is literally a convenience store that sells hot food! The customer service is ok! Nothing too crazy given the type of location! I ordered a 3 piece chicken dark with wedges! This chicken was pretty good!! I enjoyed it! It was perfect for a day of drinking hand grenades!!! Will definitely go back next time I'm in New Orleans for a quick bite to eat!

For a 24/7 convenience mart, their fried chicken and fries hit the spot when you want some late night food. I ask for extra seasoning on the fries. The flavors and spice for convenience mart chicken is a pretty good deal. Also it's relatively a fair price for food especially for being so close to the touristy area of Bourbon street and Canal. It can get kind of sketchy outside of the mart being located in the corner where you'll have some guys drinking, smoking, and soliciting for some money.

Way too many locals told us this place is a must-have if we were craving fried chicken. "Better than KFC, Popeyes or Chik-fil-A even," and that our hotel is so close, we should try it at least once! Someone even said, "it's also a great snack/meal post-pub/bar runs before hitting the sack." The kicker is when someone said how much they like their chicken because it doesn't sit too long in the warmer: they're so popular they sometimes run out, so it's almost guaranteed that what they have under the warmers most likely just came off the fryer not too long before. So, it's a liquor store who just happens to have a whole fried chicken section. After a long night of debauchery, we decided to make a stop to get some hotel supplies (water, snacks, more alcohol, etc...) and of course the must-have fried chicken. VERDICT: those locals were all on point. Their chicken was still borderline hot/warm even after a couple of blocks' walk back to our hotel. Perfect seasoning with an amazing crisp on the outside and tender as well as juicy on the inside. Their recipe can stand against all those popular fast food chicken joints. We now understand why they have a big following! We liked it so much, we came through at least twice more during the week we were there. Only one mishap: on one of those stops, they gave us a couple of chicken breasts when we asked for all dark meat. Those were a bit dry, but I'm not gonna ding them for that - I'm sure there are fans of this type out there. Oh, and talk about affordable! You get a lot for what you pay! So if you're staying somewhere within the French Quarter, give 'em a try!

This food mart is located very close to Bourbon street... where all the tourists love to hang out at night. I really liked the fried chicken here! Perfectly crispy outside but still tender and juicy meat. I personally like dark meat and the pieces I had were perfect. Store is clean. Pricing is very reasonable. Service was fine.

Everyone says the best fried chicken in NOLA is in a grocery store / gas station. We were staying close to Brothers and stopped by for a to-go lunch. Got a 3 piece dark meat chicken with fries. The guys were super nice and added some special Cajun seasoning to our fries. While this is no means a fine dining culinary experience, the chicken was juicy and the steak fries were just fried. It did the job when we were craving some soul food on this trip.

Needed some FOOD after Jazz fest Friday night and I asked the valet attendant where to go. He pointed down the block and just said "go get you some brothers chicken". Yes, sir! Staff was friendly and the chicken hot. Fries with seasoning were tasty and a perfect kick. I got a three piece dark meat. Not expensive or overly busy. Perfect late night meal.

This gas station chicken is delicious. This convenience store was located about 2 blocks from our stay in the Central Business District. It was open late. We ventured here two times during our stay. Both times we got the 6 piece tenders meal which came with fries for $12.99. Never disappointed or hungover the next day. This place be hopping. So prepare to wait in line and enjoy the entertainment (customers). My husband didn't know you could get good food at the gas sation. He is a convert and will never talk crap about gas station chicken down south again.
